How do I create a WhatsApp QR code?
Choose the WhatsApp type, enter your number with the country code and the code appears at once. Download it as PNG or SVG. When someone scans it, WhatsApp opens a chat with your number.
Let people message you on WhatsApp with one scan.
Your text never leaves this device.
Enter your phone number with the country code and, if you like, a first message. The generator builds a QR code that opens a WhatsApp chat with you when someone scans it. The code is static, so it never expires, and your number and message are processed only in your browser.

Write it in international form: the country code followed by the number, without the leading zero. For a Turkish mobile number that is +90 555 123 45 67, not 0555. Spaces and dashes are removed for you.
Yes. Whatever you type in the message box is placed in the chat input when the code is scanned. The person still has to press send, so nothing is sent automatically.
No. The code opens a chat with your number even if it is not in their contacts. They also do not need to save it first, and you will see them as a new chat when they write.
Yes. The code uses the standard wa.me chat link, which works with both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business, as long as the number is registered with one of them.
No. It is a static code with a wa.me link written into the pattern. It keeps working as long as the number stays active on WhatsApp.
No. Static codes have no scan counter. If you need numbers, count the new chats yourself or use a different message text on each printed version.
A WhatsApp code works best where people already have a question and a phone in hand: a shop window, a menu, a repair-shop counter, a real-estate sign, a market stall or a flyer. Instead of asking customers to type a number, you let them start the chat in one scan.
It also suits places where you do not want to hand out a phone number aloud, such as a conference badge or a poster on a notice board. For a printed brochure that should open your website instead, use the regular QR code generator with a link.
The number is the most common mistake. WhatsApp links need the country code and no leading zero, so a number you dial locally as 0555 123 45 67 becomes +90 555 123 45 67. Plus signs, spaces and dashes are cleaned up automatically, but the zero is not removed for you.
A pre-filled message saves your customer from typing and tells you where they came from. Something like “Hi, I scanned your window code and would like the price list” is clear. Keep it short, because the message is encoded inside the pattern and a longer text makes a denser code that is harder to scan.
Print the code at least 2 cm wide and test it with two different phones before you order a hundred copies. Dark code on a light background is the safest choice. If you add a logo, the generator switches to the highest error correction level automatically, so keep the logo small; the page QR code with logo explains the limits.
Put a short call to action next to the code, such as “Scan to chat on WhatsApp”. People scan more readily when they know what will happen.
If you want people to send a normal text message rather than use WhatsApp, make an SMS QR code. If you would rather receive an email with a subject already filled in, use an email QR code. To check an existing code before you trust it, the QR code scanner reads it from a photo.

To make a WhatsApp code from your assistant, connect the QR MCP server and ask for the generate_qr tool with the WhatsApp type, for example “make a QR code that opens a WhatsApp chat with +90 555 123 45 67”. It returns a real PNG and SVG.
